Have had many happy camping trips in it, but the family have grown / gone and we’ve not used it for some years now, so it’s time for someone else to enjoy it.The trailer tent is getting on a bit, and a bit worn at the edges, but is still a solid and dependable base for your camping holidays. I have cleaned it up and it can be used as is, but as you will read, there are some repairs and TLC that could be done to improve it. Below, any negatives are highlighted with a **.Running through the whole thing we have:Trailer External Tyres – new in 2010 and probably only done 2000 miles max, so barely usedWheel bearings – last time we used the trailer the bearings were smooth and generated no heat. The trailer still rolls smoothly so I believe the bearings are still in good conditionRoof rack included. This attaches on top of the legs.** Front painted metalwork – there is some rust which I treated with Hammerite a few years back. The rust is starting to show through again so could do with another go with the Hammerite to tidy it up.** Cover – is all in one piece. The outside looks very worn on top, but the inside looks like new. It has a few holes in the stitch lines at the corners, and it leaks a bit, so I always put the groundsheet just underneath the cover to prevent any rainwater from leaking into the trailer.** The elastic on the cover is quite old and could do with being replaced.** Rear lights – it has the wiring but I’ve never got it to work, and relied instead on a separate trailer board. If you buy this trailer tent, please remember to bring a light board / number plate!** Kitchen Legs – the plastic knob is missing from one of the screws. Works fine, just needs a 13mm socket / wrench** Jockey Wheel: there is no jockey wheel but the brackets are presentWheen nut brace is includedTent ExternalIn total the tent is 420cm wide, and 200, 420 or 520cm long depending on which configuration you erect.There were no leaks when tested recently with a hosepipe, and water beads nicely before the fabric wets out. There are no holes in the roof.All poles are provided for the mid and outer awnings. Pegs included** We use a tent peg in place of the pin on one of the pole ends – works fine.** There was some moth damage around 15 years ago to the front of the sleeping compartment. I repaired this and although it does not look pretty, it does the job and not leak. When used with the awning (which is usual), this piece of fabric is not exposed to the rain.** Rubbers – assume you will need to replace these progressively, as they are ageing.** There is a small hole, repaired, in one of the outside walls. No leaks.Tent InternalThe bed platforms fold out to make two full size beds.In the photos the right pod is fine, with mattress and inner tent. There is a foot step for getting into the trailerInner roof lining fabric is included for the awnings, which while not functionnally necessary, make a nice finishing touch to the interiorThere are two fabric wardrobes which are handy for getting changed inLarge good quality rubber groundsheet covers the entire floor inside the awningOriginal fold up table** Left pod – the mattress fabric is badly stained / torn. ** Left pod – the inner tent is missing.** Two of the spring loaded buttons on the extending poles have broken. Instead, I use rivets or short nails to jam in the holes – easy to use and works fine.Kitchen2 burner gas stove with grill, workingRegulator and hose2.75kg gas bottle (nearly empty)Grill panSink with plug2 drawersPlenty of storage space** The lids are showing signs of age and when you put them up, they are somewhat fragile where the hinges connect, and they need gentle treatmentThat’s about it.
