Conway Countryman 4 Trailer Tent.
It’s a pretty awesome little thing that’s given us so many trips of joy! However, due to marriage breakdown I struggle to assemble and load to tow etc.
Bought just a year ago and have given it a bit of a homemade make over!
It’s a 1997 model but in a good condition for its age! Some signs of age and wear that are expected but is waterproof and stays warm! (Slept in it in torrential rain recently!)
It has 2 fold out double beds and an additional double sleeping pod for the awning.
Double internal plug socket, electrical hook up cable included.
I’ve had the sofas reupholstered, made my own curtains (I’m no dress maker!) but they look good in plain grey (far better than the brown floral before!) i also made black out curtains for the windows in bed areas.
Has watertight awning and breathable ground sheet.
Ok, so the downsides…. (But don’t be put off by them!) the awning has a front canopy bit that has a rip in it, however, this is on the outside and doesn’t cause any leakage. Mainly that it just is visible. (Although recent photos we didn’t use canopy as I couldn’t reach to get the pole in!! (I’m 5’2”!)
The back section over the kitchen area one of the snap over hooks is missing so it needs cable tying (loads includes) and to the left of kitchen the material doesn’t quite meet the frame. However I just cover this with a bit of wood. Doesn’t cause water to come in!
There will be lots of additional added accessories added, not 100% sure how many as haven’t sorted through but will include some lights, windbreak, groundsheet, step, cutlery, boxes etc. Has a table that sits between the sofas for inside dining. Although, we use this outside!
The kitchen area has a double gas stove, grill, fridge with small freezer (cools really quick!) sink, however, we’ve never used that. It’s only cold water and wasn’t sure how I felt drinking water that’s travelled through a pipe that’s this old!
I’ve laid carpet and some extra mats included.
Several cupboards that store quite a lot, you wouldn’t believe the stuff I have in there!
