Conway Canterbury DL Trailer Tent.We have had this for 4 years and it is no longer getting used as we now have a van. It has been stored for the past 2 years.The Good:- Being the DL model it has the kitchenette attached to the rear. This was fully rebuilt with new box steel sections replaced as required when we first bought it. A new plywood base and fold down tops replaced the original laminated chipboard. It is full working order with the original grill pan and Camping Gas hose with regulator.It has a full set of canvasses (see main picture) which includes the 2m main cabin, 1m extension, 2m extension and 2m sun canopy (which also has the rare side panels included), all of which have a full set of poles in good condition. All of the canvas is in great condition and has been dry stored indoors, we always removed it prior to putting the trailer away. It was Fabsil sprayed last time out in 2016 and has always been leak free.Liner for the 1m section which gives 2 enclosed ‘wardrobes’, one on each side. We used 1 for a pop up wardrobe, the other for ‘overnight facilities’…Full set of roof linings.Full set of curtains.The base trailer has had all the underside metalwork stripped and given 2 undercoats + 2 top coats of Hammerite. The underside of the cabin plywood floor has been stripped and 2 coats of bitumen paint applied.Custom made table for the main cabin sectionIt has the Conway front box mounted.Both running tyres are in good condition, it has an unused spare + 1 extra.The wiring loom from rear lights through to plug was replaced when we bought it.It has 2 Conway covers, one in blue and one in greenComes with original Conway manual showing how to put up the whole thingThe Not So Good:-The tarpaulin cover came adrift resulting in the trailer getting damp. This has affected the chipboard side panels which have expanded a bit, and ideally need replacing with plywood though still function ok.One of the large mattresses and one of the small seat pads has also gotten damp and to be honest I wouldn’t use them. The other 2 are clean and dry. They are 30 years old and uncomfortable though so airbeds are better!Also included in the sale are a couple of boxes of ‘bits’ (spare rubbers, guy ropes etc etc), plenty of pegs, a step, 4 way power lead and various other useful bits and bobs.As it stands none of the canvasses are on the frame.
