Robens Field Tower Tipi Style Tent – The Lightweight Kiowa!
Fantastic tent. Bought during lockdown and used on two camping trips. I don’t use it enough as my son is no longer interested in camping so it has to go. Excellent condition except for one small rip in the stuff sack that happened when I took it down from the loft to sell! This can be seen in the photos. Tent is in perfect condition.

The Robens Field Tower has started with one of my favourite Robens tents, the Kiowa, and made it from their HydroTex material. This has produced a tent that is lighter in weight and packs down smaller for all those that want something a little more pack able.
The Field Tower sleeps up to eight or can be used with an optional six-person two-door inner, making it an excellent quick-to-pitch base for groups. The tipi features a telescopic alloy centre pole and a zip-in groundsheet that can be rolled back in the large extended front porch to create a wet area. A pre-bent pole maximises porch headroom. Three low vents assist airflow and the neat Internal Apex Vent Control is simple to adjust from inside using just two cords.

Wind Test:
– Robens Wind Test: The determination of the performance of a Robens tent in wind is based on the knowledge and technique available to Robens at the time of testing. During the test we register the maximum (MAX) speed impact a tent was subjected and the average (AVG) wind speed at which structural instability occurred. This may appear as a broken/deformed pole, or the collapse of the tent and subsequent return to shape when the wind drops. At no point was any form of catastrophic failure experienced up to the maximum wind speed.
