here is our American pop up camper we have decided to sell
it’s really warm and comfortable much like a caravan with 2 huge beds and 2 work tops and a table that also converts into beds and a solid roof but more room as the bed pull out creating a larger living space.
it has lots of storage space…under seats and cupboard storage
you can also slide an awning on the outside if you want to create more space or a seating area. we borrowed my mom’s if you look on the last photo you can see with an awning on but this is not for sale with the camper!
it would benefit from another coat of water proof as we had a slight leak on our last trip away on the Cavan by the bedrooms. we have give it a quick once over were it leaked but I would rather say do it again to be on the safe.
one of the pullys has snapped. we have brought the cable and the pully to repair it…. it’s a pretty easy fix just a bit fidley but anyone who can tinker with things would do it fine…. we fixed it once but used the wrong size cable and it had to come back out … gutted but hey our own fault we still went on holiday without it fixed and it was fine with it not fixed and was perfectly usable just needes 2 people to put it up me and my partner did it fine and supported with a pole and used it…..it has 4 safety bars that fix in when its up so it’s never going any were it’s fab.
all the window zip open with fly nets on to keep cool if need be
one small repair been made on one bedroom canvas but it’s tiny
one of the catches to keep the door on the roof has broke but it still goes up fine it’s not an issue
it’s an old camper it’s not gonna be perfect by any one standards. A tinker here and there is part the fun
tyres were new last year
brand new winch this year
brand new lights this year
new flooring… curtains…work top and painted fresh this year also some lighthouse art work around the top inside
it’s the perfect camper really and could be a nice little project as well 🙂
