Take the already excellent MONTANA 8 Tent from skandika, add a fully sewn-in groundsheet with mosquito netting for the living area, and you have the MONTANA 8 PROTECT. For those who like to experience the great outdoors, with a little extra protection. Experience the same attractive features for up to 8 people including 3/4 separate sleeping cabins with mosquito mesh, entrances with sun canopies, a lantern hook, and ventilation openings, but with a fully sewn-in groundsheet for extra protection against the weather and creepy crawlies!
The MONTANA 8 is an extremely spacious 8-berth family or group tent which is quick and easy to erect and at the same time offers greatest protection, even in high winds.
The 200 cm peak height allows best possible freedom of movement and the generous central living area provides ample space for all your belongings or a cosy retreat for the family on cooler evenings.
The two generous sleeping pods are positioned one at each end of the tent and have a central divider, giving a total of four separate sleeping areas. The breathable inner tent material helps keep the climate inside the tent comfortable and mesh on the sleeping pods and main entrances keep out any unwelcome insects. The large main entrance can be kept open using the upright poles included, creating a useful sunshade.
The MONTANA 8 offers a fantastic 5,000 mm water column, giving you and your family excellent protection from even the nastiest of British weather. The water column describes the quality and strength of the waterproofing of a tent and 5,000 mm is the highest available quality for family tents; most tents offer 3,000 mm or lower.
The poles are strong, yet flexible and made of shatter-proofed fibreglass. The two upright poles for the entrance are made of steel. A groundsheet for the living area is included with the tent.
The MONTANA 8 is quick and easy to erect so you can start enjoying your holiday straight away. The sturdy finish with waterproof sealed seams, reinforced eyelets and tabs and fire retardant material make this roomy tent extremely durable – a good investment which will give you many years of camping fun.
The tent comes in a handy bag with full assembly instructions and all the accessories you need (guy ropes, tent pegs etc.). A repair kit is also included – accidents can happen!
