This is truly an exceptional family tent!The layout of this tent is fantastic and with the thick metal poles this tent is not going anywhere in any weather condition.For such a large tent it is very easy to erect due to there only being 5 pole sections which are colour coded and match the colour coded sections on the tent.Tent is in excellent condition with no rips, tears or leaks. We will be sorry to see this go but due to children being all grown up the tent is slightly on the large size for just 2 of us.Price £200 ono – Pickup only (too large and heavy to post)
The Vango Maritsa 600 is a classic 6-berth family tent. The Maritsa is one of Vango’s best selling family tents and the 2012 version is the best yet! The Vango Maritsa 600 has a solid steel pole construction and offers a unique tunnel design with the varying pole sizes creating a huge hexagonal shaped living area that is more than capable of housing all of your living area furniture. The sleeping quarters also have great flexibility with 2+2+2-berth arrangement which can be adapted to a 4+2.
The living space is truly huge with two offset ‘J’ door entrances (with mesh double doors) on either side plus large windows either side to let in ample daylight. In front of the living space is a panel doorway which leads into the large, fully enclosed porch or kitchen area which again features two large windows. The living space, bedroom and porch / kitchen areas of the Maritsa 600 feature a fully sewn-in groundsheet – all giving 10,000mm HH protection.
Other key features include, external pole sleeves and pole clips allowing flysheet first erection, fully seam-sealed Protex 4000 embossed 70D polyester flysheet for 4000mm hydrostatic head protection, storm skirting, colour coded Powerplus steel poles, breathable polyester ‘lights out’ inner tents with part mesh doors, zip divider in 4-berth inner tent, flexible inners than can be removed when not in use, large windows with improved internal privacy covers, low level vents, hanging organizer and inner pockets and cable entry point. Roller bag for canvas, handled carry bag for poles. Fire retardant throughout. 30 minutes pitch time. Fully wind and rain tested.
