Hi Gear Corado 6 man Tent inc additional Extension/Porch, Footprint and Carpet…
This is a fantastic tent, which I’ve owned for circa 10yr and enjoyed with my partner when we first bought it, and then with my family of two girls. It was purchased as a full package, which I’m selling today and has been looked after from day one. The Porch extension was purchased from new and is a great asset, where we spend most of out time when the weather is good, and also sometime when not, especially when the children were in bed.
Total size with porch attached is 8m x 4m, so has plenty of room to enjoy, especially when the weather is not so good.The bedroom design is 3 and 3, with a central divide which can be un-zipped and folded/tied to one side.
The windows in the main living area (2 on each side), have blinds that can be folded down and tied, and then the windows can either be fully opened, or opened with a fly sheet, so are very versatile and a great tool on those hot days to keep you cool (see images).
2 x side door can be opened, from bottom up vertically which have poles to hold in the open position, these doors are also protected with fly sheets (never used these due to having front extension fitted).
Power connection point on left hand side (when looking from front), and central light hanging point with ties running to the left (direction of power inlet point)
Bedroom pods can be removed if required (we always had then in. I have attached a black bed sheet over one side what we used as the children’s bedroom to make it slightly darker in the mornings. I’ve left this included with the tent, however this can be removed.
The metal poles are inter-connected with a wire to keep then together and can be folded away, however 4 or 5 of the metal poles have broken connecting wires on one section, however this does not effect the performance in any way, I just like to offer an honest and accurate description for the buyer. I can provide photos of these if required.
The central hanging point for the light broke very early in life, however this was repaired with carpet tape and has not let me down since (please note, the tent is not damaged, only the hanging hole that split downward due to using an Outwell light), I can also provide photo’s of this if required, but in all honesty its stronger now than it was originally.
The carpet is from an Outwell Sun Valley 6, but was purchased for another tent I owned before this, and was subsequently modified, by cutting down the sewn seams to make into 3 sections, however when I purchased this one, I realised it would fit the main living area, so re-attached all sections using carpet tape (images supplied of this excellent workmanship!!)
Takes 2 people around 45 minutes to erect.
All in all this is a great tent and ill be sorry to see it go. We’re selling due to upgrading to an Air tent.
Buyer will not be disappointed and the tent still has plenty of life left for you to enjoy with your families.
