The side mesh door on the Vango Icarus 500 allows for insect-free ventilation, and the parallel-zip front door can be extended out as a canopy using awning poles (not included).Front and rear venting and a breathable inner keep you comfortable inside, and ‘comfort colours’ (darker over the bedroom) mean there’s no rush to get out of the tent on those bright mornings.It comes with an oversized handled carry-bag that makes packing away simple.The tent is in Moss colour and has always been stored dry and in our garage.DEFECT – When packing the tent during a trip, the front door zipper has come off as shown in the photo – assume this can be repaired with clips/sewing to stop the zipper coming off every time? However, the front outer door still closes with the velcro fasteners. The Inner Mesh door is unaffected and we’ve always had the extension on the front (for sale under separate listing) and so it’s never affected us.Model is 2012/13 which I believe has changed very little.Also, is this tent is listed as a 5 Berth, but 4 berth is probably more realistic 🙂
