Bought in the 1980’s and kept in goodcondition since then in dry conditions, in a smoke and pet free house /environment. Used regularly in the 80’s, but rarely since then. Three of the rubber connectors / elastics have perished on the fly sheet, as shown on the photos, but can easily replace with spares or with heavy duty rubber connector. The same has happened with the elastic connector between the inner and fly sheet as shown. Again this can easily be replaced. As shown on the photos, a small area of seam has eased away (not torn) at the back of the groundsheet. We have repaired this with tape as shown, and is perfectly waterproof. For scale, each repair is about 3 inches long. Some of the poles have lost their elastic connectors too, again as shown, but fit together perfectly well. Other than that, as you would expect from Vango, this is a quality product which gave many good years of use in a variety of weathers and environments. Cotton inner, some storage pockets, good quality zips still in working order, no leaks / draughts, lovely and cosy and can be erected with a little care by one person. But two is more likely if there’s any wind! Not too sure of the weight, but under 10kg, but with packing will have to go for Hermes @ £10.59 including proof of delivery. Or can pick up.
