The largest and lightest in their Pushing The Limits series, the Sierra Designs Sweet Suite 3 gives you a 2 door, 2 vestibule tent that blends a low pack weight with plenty of practical comfort.
The freestanding dome design is fast to pitch and features a weight saving, hubbed pole geometry. Pre-bent DAC Featherlite pole architecture in the front and rear and a single ridgepole create near vertical walling for maximum interior space. The flysheet can be rolled back for added ventilation in warmer weather while the inner can be used as a standalone shelter where conditions permit.
On the inside, there’s room enough for 3 people with a door either side for hassle-free access. A full-coverage flysheet creates a vestibule either side providing extra storage space.
Flysheet is a low weight 20D nylon ripstop with 30D in the floor. Silicone/PeU waterproof treatment delivers a hydrophobic coating with increased mould and mildew resistance and hydrostatic head up to 1200mm. A 15D nylon No-See-Um mesh canopy keeps out bugs with ample ventilation.
The innovative ‘burrito’ style storage pack makes it quick and easy to pack away while an additional footprint (sold separately) boosts ground protection.
With a packed weight of just 1.93kg and small pack size, the Sweet Suite 3 tent gives you a trail-friendly design for 3-persons with a price-tag that’s hard to beat. All underpinned by Sierra Designs quality construction. A superb backpacking shelter for 3-season camping.
