With a trail weight of just 1.96 kg and a packed size of 16 x 53 cm the Big Agnes C Bar 3 tent delivers a lightweight, performance trekking shelter with a price tag that won’t break the bank.
Built for 3-season excursions, the C Bar features reliable DAC Angle Hubs with an attached cross pole to create a spacious interior. The freestanding design is easy to pitch with room enough for three people with sleeping pads and kit. The C Bar has single door access with a small front vestibule for stowing gear and muddy footwear.
The C Bar pitches inner tent first with a versatile design that lets the inner stand alone for use in good weather – a great way to stargaze beneath the night sky. By using the additional footprint (sold separately) you can pitch the fly without the inner tent for a minimalist ‘Fast Fly’ camping experience where conditions allow.
A number of inner pockets and hang tabs help organise belongings with a large ceiling pocket to hold lighting or smaller essentials.
All seams are taped with waterproof polyurethane tape while both flysheet and floor feature a polyester taffeta with 1500mm waterproof polyurethane coating to protect against rain.
The C Bar 3 offers a robust camping shelter with a trail-friendly weight and design underpinned by Big Agnes’ quality construction. A superb all-around shelter equally at home on wild camping trips to multi-day car or bike-packing tours.
