OUR COMMITMENT TO CONSUME LESS WATER WITH THIS PRODUCT:We have improved this product with an eco-design approach to the product materials. Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce our environmental impact, we use a mass pigmentation process that involves adding the colour pigments when the yarn itself is produced.We use this process for the tent with the following colour (ref: 8562098)Living Room and Bedroom:3.5 sqm living area with a height of 1.90 m.This tent is fitted with a basin groundsheet at the entrance which can be folded up in the event of rainy conditions and 8 pockets in the living room (2 pockets on the outside of each bedroom too).The 2 bedrooms in this tent are intended to accommodate a maximum of two 70 cm wide mattresses.Pitching and dismantling:There are four poles to insert into their corresponding sleeves. There are colour codes to help you.We recommend that 2 people pitch the tent.Sun protection:The flysheet fabric has UPF 30 sun protection.Caution: be careful, as a large amount of UV rays can get in through a simple open door.Ventilation:The ventilated flysheet on the living area airs the room and reduces condensation inside your tent. High ventilation hatches are also provided at the front and back of the tent, along with high mosquito nets on the door and at the back of the bedroom.Wind resistance:We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The aim is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity.Properly pitched, with the guy ropes deployed, this tent remains habitable in wind speed 6, measured at 50 km/h.Waterproofing:We test our tents to validate their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 3 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per sqm, the equivalent of tropical rain of 200 mm per hour. The second test is done in the field under real-life conditions by our teams. This tent is fitted with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet measuring 2,000 mm. It also has seams that have been waterproofed with heat-sealed strips, and a 140 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet.Repair:As designers and users who love nature, we care about the durability of our products. That’s why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and pole repairs are available at the workshop of your Decathlon store or on our website.Poles and tent pegs:Poles – All our poles are made from fibreglass and undergo double quality checks. This guarantees some of the best resistance against breakage.Tent pegs – All our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.Maintenance advice:Our camping tents have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) when camping or in the great outdoors. Continued exposure to UV rays over several weeks can damage the fabric. These products are not classified as “garden furniture” and aren’t designed to be left outdoors permanently. To guarantee maximum durability of your tent, it’s important to store it when not in use.

Delivery

Returns

If you’re not satisfied with an item you’ve bought online, you have 30 days to change your mind as long as the item is unused and in its original packaging.

We don’t however refund perishable goods such as food or drink.

Please note: we do not accept returns to our Decathlon stores or to any collection point.

Refunds

Your refund will be processed once your parcel has been scanned as received in our warehouse.

Once the return is approved, you’ll receive the money back in your account within 3-5 working days, or around 48 hours if you paid via PayPal.

Warranty

On the rare occasion you have a product with a manufacturing defect, don’t worry, all brands by Decathlon products come with a minimum guarantee of 2 years unless specified otherwise.

Any material or manufacturing defect recognised by Decathlon teams.The replacement of faulty parts with matching parts for the same use, and labour.

Length of guarantee:

2 years on all products (unless specified otherwise) from the date of purchase.

Application of the guarantee:

The product must not have been subject to any shocks or abnormal treatment outside of normal use conditions.The product must be used according to its instructions and be regularly maintained.

The guarantee does not include:

Damage that is the responsibility of a third party, or resulting from an intentional or fraudulent act.
Damage resulting from use not in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, or from negligence.
Worn parts (tyres, inner tubes, chains, pulleys, cables, etc.).
Products that have been modified not in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Only original parts are covered by the Decathlon guarantee.
Damage resulting from fire, lightning, storms, vandalism, or unsafe or insecure transport.
