With its low weight and innovative design, the Tumble 2 mtnGLO® from Big Agnes delivers a well-rounded backpacking shelter with a uniquely practical solution to night lighting.
Forming part of the Big Agnes mtnGLO collection, the Tumble features To-Go removable tent lights. This patent-pending design uses a durable LED lighting system to illuminate the tent interior of your tent with enough light to organise gear, read, or hang out with friends.
Multiple attachment points let you place the lights for the best effect while a simple push-button controller has three settings: on, off and 50% brightness (for a softer, ambient lighting). The versatile design means the mtnGLO® To-Go tent lights may be used outside the tent for camp lighting if desired.
With a trail weight of just 2.1 kg and a packed size of 15 x 56 cm the Big Agnes Tumble 2 tent delivers a lightweight shelter for travel by foot, bicycle or paddle.
Built for 3-season excursions, the Tumble features reliable DAC aluminium poles with a pre-bent architecture that increases volume and livable space. The freestanding design is easy to pitch with room enough for two people with sleeping pads and kit. Dual entrances with vestibules give each occupant their own hassle-free access with added storage for gear and muddy footwear.
The Tumble 2 pitches inner tent first with a versatile design that lets the inner stand alone for use in good weather – a great way to stargaze beneath the night sky. By using the additional footprint (sold separately) you can pitch the fly without the inner tent for a minimalist ‘Fast Fly’ camping experience where conditions allow.
A number of inner pockets and hang tabs help organise belongings with media pockets positioned above the sleeping areas to enable clean ear bud cord routing from phones or other devices. Venting in the fly increases airflow and manages moisture to reduce condensation.
All seams are taped with waterproof polyurethane tape while both flysheet and floor feature a polyester taffeta with 1500mm waterproof polyurethane coating to protect against rain.
The Tumble 2 mtnGLO offers a robust camping shelter with a trail-friendly weight and unique night-light design, all underpinned by Big Agnes’ quality construction. A superb all-around shelter equally at home on wild camping trips to multi-day car or bike-packing tours.
