Hi Gear Kalahari 10 Berth Tent for sale.
Complete package includes interior carpet, porch and footprint (groundsheet). Selling due to downsizing – been in garage for almost two years due to 2020 lockdown scuppering our plans. This is a great family tent, extremely spacious, but takes a bit of time to get up. Well worth it when you have, though, and there are plenty of YouTube videos to show you how. The low starting price is due to the tent needing re-proofing. Please do not buy unless you are prepared to do this – look for another item that’s ready to rock ‘n’ roll. It’s a good tent, but like all tents, loses its proofing over time. Some attention with proofing spray and seam sealer (very important) will sort it out – again, there are loads of YouTube videos detailing how to do it.
The review attached is for the updated version of the Kalahari (now in green). It’s pretty much the same tent, and new, the whole package costs around £600. Check out the completed listings, these tents are going for a lot of money. The Kalahari 10 is currently out of stock at Go Outdoors, so this could be a way to get a bargain setup if you are prepared to do the maintenance on a dry day before you go camping. You’ll need quite a big space to erect it, though – measurements in the images attached to the listing are in cm.
Please note this is collect in person only, for obvious reasons, from Shipley, West Yorkshire. It’s a beast of a tent, so please make sure you’ve got heaps of boot space.
