This is my very well loved and looked after TT that I have owned for 2 years. She’s up to 8 berth.Sad to her go but have been offered a caravan.
She’s 1996 but excellent for her age and has been garage stored so nice and dry.
this trailer is 100% weatherproofed and water tight.
OUTSIDE
Plug for hook up to sockets in trailer. Generally I used for chargers and lighting. All working and safe.
Large awning with 1 “door” entrance and choice of 2 large entrances (all zips good)
Windows all round, all 100%, with flyscreens. Windows can be rolled up and secured leaving just flyscreens for more air.
100% waterproof and waterproofed naturally.
All rubbers for awning replaced when needed with spares.
Large breathable “carpets”. Come in 2 sections. I’ve only ever used one as it covered nearly the whole awning anyway.
TRAILER
Mechanically sound with 3 excellent tyres (inclusive of spare)
Large storage box which I have recently put a new bottom on to extend life.
Roof rack and large storage box that slides into support legs. Old but perfectly good.
Original cover that goes over whole trailer and kitchen unit with elastic.
INSIDE
The trailer itself has two double beds within separate inner tents (all zips good) either side of the walkway and storage lockers. Mattresses clean as I removed original covers and used duvet covers as protectors.
2 storage lockers over wheel arches which are deceptively spacious and house the electrics box/trip switch. I manage to get pretty much everything in these. The inside is clean and solid.
rear window that rolls up to fly screen with curtains.
inner liner to middle roof area.
you can have a standard double and two benches or use the bench cushions to make tthe double beds a foot wider.
there are to pup tents for under each double with their own access to make up 2 singles or 2 doubles for kids.
The awning is easy to erect and doubles the size of the tent at least. Poles are colour coded to speed up the process.
The awning has an inner liner and curtains which cover the roof and provide an area for changing, wardrobe or toilet. This is immaculate and really cosy.
KITCHEN
I’ve recently “refurbished” the kitchen unit. It’s been stripped out, all is rust free, and covered in ‘sticky back plastic’ inside. Added new shelves for improved storage and use ability. I removed the metal sink/cooker unit to lessen weight ( I also never used the sink). This houses a two ring gas stove with grill and pan. Also 3/4 has bottle. It’s a much better set up and provides plenty of cooking space.
THE NOT SO GOOD BITS
I’m being honest but please remember this is over 20 years old so will have its snags which are few.
The cover is 100% water tight. It had a small tear of 2” (didn’t go all the way through)which I’ve covered in gaffer tape. I put a generous amount on but the tears not as big as the repair.
The awning has previously been repaired with gaffer tape to the front inside. Doesn’t leak and doesn’t really notice as sits under pole.
The zip to the main awning on one side doesn’t ‘bite’. I use a large safety pin to make the teeth bite and hold. Again doesn’t leak.
I honestly can’t think of anything else.
EXTRAS
Ill include a long electrics cable, potrtable toilet, gas bottle and a few bits and pieces.
VIEWING
I will put her up this weekend if you want to see her in her full glory. Happy to put the trailer up and show everything else any other time.
I’ll also post more pictures when I’ve got her up.
