HELLO AND WELCOME TO MY AUCTION.We are sadly selling out trusty trailer tent as we are looking into moving onto a caravan. This has been closed up since last year and this weekend we finally got around to opening it up and to be honest expected it to be allot worse than it is….phew!!However it has not escaped unscathed so we will get the bad bits out of the way first…Firstly the front RHS lifting mechanism has pulled out and will need to be repaired (see pictures) thankfully the cable is intact as it pulled out of the collet and the spring is intact so can be replaced. However the guide in the corner of the camper has shifted and will need to be reinstated before it can be re assembled, overall not a difficult job but still a fairly big one!! All the other risers work as they should and we have made a timber support for the broken corner and it can be raised if done carefully if a little slowly.Secondly it seems that there is a leak in the roof which has caused some minor damage inside and some of the roof lining is sagging slightly and there is some mold staining on the canvas, we have cleaned the canvas but a little staining is still present at the one end. There had been other repairs done prior to us buying it but all had no effect on its use. This is an old camper van and as such is no oil painting but the canvas is water proof (reproofed last year) and it functions as it should so when the lifting gear is repaired it will still be very useable and give hopefully some more years of service. As I say the canvas is waterproof but has some minor repairs, the towing lights worked when last used and I have fitted new LED interior lights and a 12v power center with USB and lighter sockets. There is no 240V but we used a camping trailing lead (not included)As you can see when fully up it is HUGE inside and will sleep 4 without having to make up beds and still have all the interior space or you can make up the extra double bed for another 2 although we have never done it. There is a grill and 2 burners as well as a working foot pump for the water and sink. There is allot of storage space and plenty of floor space for all that camping clobber we always take. It also has the two inner sleeping liners for the end beds.We will give it a good clean and see if I can fix the leak on the roof but as I say when the repairs are done it will be a great camper for someone who has the time and skill to fix it. We just do not have the time to repair it and as I say are looking to change to a caravan now. This is 6’8″ wide and 11′ long with another 4′ for the tow bar making it 15′ overall.Obviously with all that is going on at the moment safe distancing etc will be observed and it is COLLECTION ONLY.I hopefully have described it as best as I can and don’t expect an as new item, be aware it needs some repairs and is sold as seen with no returns.I will answer any questions as soon as I can.Good luck.
