Hi, I’m reluctantly selling my Conway oxford trailer tent, as I need the space, and my nephews no longer want to come on holiday with us anymore.
It is quite old, 1993 I think (see photo of plaque) and as you’d expect quite a few repairs to the canvas have taken place over the years, Particularly around zips, guy ropes and pole sockets.
The canvas on the roof is heavier duty, it was Re-proofed about 5 years ago, but had never leaked prior to this nor since.
It is massive; without the annexe it’s about 4.6 m wide by 4m long, with the annexe you get another 2.2 m I to the overall length.
The tent front can either be attached to either the normal front, at 4 m length, or on the front of the annexe, this allows you to use the annexe as a veranda or completely enclose the entire area.
The 2 fold out large double beds, with foam mattresses, are very comfortable, enclosed within their own inner tents. Can put ‘pup’ tents under these, or pop up tents (neither of which are included in sale), this would mean the tent would comfortably sleep 8. Or you can just use this space for storage, leaving the rest of the tent uncluttered.
There are storage lockers in this area, with 6 power points which are live when hooked up. The storage lockers provide bench seating and you could easily put a table in this area, and sit round it on the bench for meals. Also storage space for a leisure battery and some 12v lights, 2 of with clips that fit to poles.
Also a cigarette lighter socket here for plugging kitchen unit in to powere the sink pump.
The cooker part has a few storage drawers, a sink and a cooker, 2 rings with grill, see photo.
There’s a set of stainless steel shelves which flat pack, and attach to the main cooker unit, creating an excellent camp kitchen set up, take a bit of working out though.
All poles are present, and in good condition, a step is included too.
Both tyres on trailer are in good condition, and the spare looks brand new.
I’ll throw in a 5 gallon clean water container, and a 5 gallon waste.
I’ve charged the battery, think it’s taken some charge, and will include that. We normally have a battery charger constantly charging the battery when we’re hooked up; I’ll throw one of these in too if I can find it.
If the auction go’s over £200, I’ll throw in a 25m electric hook up cable which plugs into the trailer
Starting at £100, as the trailer is worth more that in scrap alone.
Sold as seen in the photos, no returns. If you win I’ll expect a £50 deposit within 24hrs, and the trailer to be taken away within 7 days of the auction end.

I’ve now taken the tent down, as I need the room, and will not be putting it up again, so you’ll have to go from the photos I’ve taken and posted.
