here is our Conway Canterbury Trailer tent. we have been using this to camp with our 3 children over the last few years and have always had great fun and a comfortable nights sleep. There are 2 bed areas that fold out and are raised off the ground meaning youget a very warm nights sleep. From Wrapping up in multiple layers in our previous tent, I have always slept in shorts and t-shirt since moving into his one. the main area sleeps 4 (or 5 if there are kids up there) and there are 2 more sleeping pods that hang underneath so you can comfortably sleep 8.
There are 2 awnings that zip on to the front of the tent and several inners that can hang to allow for a toilet area and cupboard. Curtains through out and more material that hides the poles if you are staying for longer. All the poles are present (We always used both the awnings so I know they are there). there is a kitchen with a sink and double ring gas burner/grill that lifts off (gas not included but the hose and regulator is) – you can keep your kettle plates and cutlery in the unit. All the poles store inside the trailer, as does the canvass awnings and there is still room for camp chairs (as long as they fold down). Further storage is provided by using the front box. we used to keep a portaloo, electrics and windbreak in there with room to spare.
Once erected the sleeping area is off the ground and can be used as a seating area during the day – the cushions serve as seat cushions as well as matresses.
the trailer tows really well, the tyres are good and the lighting board works perfectly – it is a really easy tow.
there are a couple of slight tears (less than 5cm) and a slightly larger one in the plastic of the front door (this one has been taped) of the awning but the Canvass has never leaked on us (we had a VERY wet week in France a few years ago and have of course been out in some British weather).I don’t have a photo of the tent fully erected but if you have a look at the Conway owners club, there are stock photos there where you can see it with the awning up (I have one I can send but the resolution is not good enough to go in the listing)
All in all a fab tent that has loads of life in it yet. (we have upgraded as the kids are getting bigger). it has been kept in a garage since we had it so it is in really good order throughout.
