Hello, It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to sell our very much loved ‘Eddie’ our Pop Up Camper, we have had many lovely holidays in our beautiful camper but unfortunetly with our ever growing family we need to move to a bigger space. Take a look at the listing and if you would like any more photo’s or information please contact us anytime, this is a collection only item and viewing before buying can be arranged. This 1997 Vintage camper is unique in every way, it folds into a trailer ready to hook up onto your car and be towed straight away. The camper itself is light so can easily be pushed and turned to be put into position. It’s also really easy to put up and takes just 10 mins to pop up and set up the kitchen area ready to use. It has four ‘Jack’ style legs to add stability & level out the trailer on uneven ground – super handy! This is done with a nut-socket driver, which if you’re being super organised can be used on a cordless drill to make it really quick & easy. If you love camping this little trailer is the perfect alternative to give you a more luxury camping trip, it has a fold out double bed which turns from a dining area (table & two benches) into a really lovely double bed. The other side has another seated area with two smaller benches and a table which then turns into a single bed. The camper also comes with a hammock which can be hung above the single bed to make a bunk (to note we have never used the hammock as my children used to shared the single bed, but the hammock is included for you)Rather lovely these Paradiso Trailers have a Facebook Page which you can join & lots of other owners share their pictures, any special finds, spare parts & custom bits & bobs. These are mainly European as these trailers are a rare find in the U.K 🙂 The external measurements of the caravan are 325cm long by 193cm wide. The maximum length of the caravan including the tow bar is 452cm – This size fits easily on our driveway with our car too. Each bench unit comes with storage underneath perfect for storing bedding, clothes, spares etc. The camper has a P.V.C side which can also be entirely rolled up on sunny days (see picture). The camper comes complete with a fridge, hob (3 x burner) and sink, also with food storage cupboards underneath. The cooker works by adding your own Calor Gas bottle into the front storage compartment (a 4.5kg fits well & lasts for many camping trips). This is situated near the tow bar & is great as the gas bottle is stored outside the living space. Attaching the trailer to a campsite/camping electric hook-up allows the fridge & electric water pump to work. This also gives you lots of 240v 3-pin sockets to use too for charging phones etc.The electric water pump is located next to the gas bottle ready for your own fresh water container – please note this trailer has electric capability through the electric hook-up only & doesn’t have its own leasure battery as such. There are interior lights which can be powered from an external 12v (car style) battery, we rarely used these as our boys loved having lots of battery powered fairy lights hung on hooks inside the living area – very pretty! The fabric of the sides is P.V.C (not the usual canvas often found on folding caravans & trailer tents) this being a huge benefit as it isn’t required to be re-waterproofed & it isn’t likely to be affected by mould or corrosion. As a single axle trailer it has two wheels with a great turning circle – easy to get into those campsite pitches! 🙂 The chassis is galvanised making it much more resistant to rusting. There is also a spare wheel for any emergencies located on the underside of the trailer – we’ve never used it though. The work ‘Asdruk’ on the plaque (see photos) refers to the Axle weight, so we believe this to be a 700kg max axle weight. This is quite light weight for a caravan/trailer, it is also a ‘Breaked’ trailer, so as you use your breaks the trailer has a simple spring style breaks too.(look at your make & model to find your car’s max breaked towing weight) As a used trailer, and given its age, there are a few repairs to the P.V.C, the odd scratch & crack in the plastic interior but nothing that affects its usability. The outside shell & roof is fibreglass & in good condition. If you have any questions please feel free to send them over anytime. Have a great day!
