Thus tent has been used but is in great condition. It was Vango’s best selling family tent in 2012. The Vango Maritsa 700 has a full steel pole construction for absolute solidity and offers a rather unique non-standard tunnel design with poles of varying heights offering a great expanse of space. The sleeping quarters are arranged into a large 5 bed room and a smaller 2 bed room – us adults slept in the smaller room comfortably and let the kids have the larger room so we could easily walk around them if one of them needed us at night.
The living space is truly huge with two offset ‘J’ door entrances (with mesh double doors) on either side plus large windows either side (which have been increased in size for this season) to let in ample daylight. In front of the living space is a panel doorway which leads into the large, fully enclosed porch area which again features two large windows. The living space and bedroom areas of the Maritsa 700 feature a fully sewn-in groundsheet with the porch featuring a separate loose, riser.
Other key features include, external pole sleeves and pole clips allowing flysheet first erection, fully seam-sealed Protex 4000 embossed 70D polyester flysheet for 4000mm hydrostatic head protection, storm skirting, colour coded Powerplus steel poles, breathable polyester ‘lights out’ inner tents with part mesh doors, zip divider in 3-berth inner tent, flexible inners than can be removed when not in use, large windows with improved internal privacy covers, low level vents, hanging organizer and inner pockets and cable entry point. Roller bag for canvas, handled carry bag for poles. Repair kit. Fire retardant throughout. 30 minutes pitch time. Fully wind and rain tested. Carpet not included.
