This is the new updated 2017 model with new end pole design for easier pitching and improved ventilation. Very lightweight – around 1.2 (which makes it one of the lightest 2 man tents on the market). Dark green colour and low profile makes it perfect for wild camping, hiking or bicycle touring. Used only for 7 nights only. So extremely good condition.
For easy access, Terra Nova have included two doors with an ample sized porch for living when the weather isn’t too pleasant and to make things even easier, the Laser Competition 2 has an attached inner and flysheet, completely simplifying the pitching experience to literally minutes, which is assisted by colour coding on poles.
A DAC NFL alloy pole is used for the main construction and features a low profile design for maximum rigidity. To support this profile, standard guy roping has been inmplemented, reinforcing the structure.The Laser Competition 2 uses Terra Nova’s advanced Watershed flysheet and groundsheet fabrics, designed to prevent water penetration into the inner. The end flysheet seams have been positioned so they are not directly over the inner and a removable waterproof pole cover is supplied with the tent to fully waterproof the main seam. This adds protection to the zip and stability in adverse weathers.
